Two ways to pay
Pay as you dance,
or save a little.
Try a class for a tenner, or commit to four weeks of the same one and pocket the difference. Either way there's no membership, no direct debit and nothing to cancel.
Turn up to any class on the timetable, pay on the night, leave with no strings. Perfect for trying a style before you commit.
Book the same class four weeks running and each session works out at £8. Long enough to feel real progress, short enough to change your mind.
No contracts, ever. Gyms lock you in; we'd rather you kept coming because Thursday's class is the best hour of your week. Miss a session on a block and we'll try to fit you into another that week.

First night, explained
How your first class
actually goes.
Nobody is thrown in at the deep end. Here's the shape of a first session, so the only surprise is how quickly it flies.
Where classes run
Central Plymouth,
easy to reach.
Weekly classes run at a studio we hire in Plymouth city centre — a short walk from the railway station, the Theatre Royal and the Barbican, with car parks and bus stops within a few minutes. The specific venue for each class comes with your timetable when you enquire.
By train or bus
Plymouth station and the city's main bus routes are minutes away — handy for dancers coming in from Plympton, Plymstock, Saltash or Ivybridge after work.
By car or bike
Central car parks sit close by, and the city-centre cycle routes make a bike the fastest way in from the Hoe side of town.
Before your first class
Things people ask
before they start.
The honest answers to the questions that stop people booking. Anything else, drop it in the form above.
01I've never danced — will I be the only beginner?
Almost certainly not. Most people who join our dance classes in Plymouth start from nothing, and teachers pitch every session so a first-timer can follow along while regulars still get stretched. If you'd like a gentler start, say so in your enquiry and we'll suggest the best class for it.
02Do I have to book, or can I just turn up?
Enquire first so we can send the current timetable and confirm there's space — some classes fill up. After that, drop-ins simply arrive and pay £10 on the night, while block bookers pay £32 up front for the next four sessions.
03What do I wear, and is there anything to bring along?
Comfortable clothes you can move in and trainers or bare feet depending on the style — the individual class pages spell out anything specific, like heels for a heels class or hard shoes for tap. Bring a bottle of water; we don't supply props or shoes, so anything style-specific is yours to bring.
04How old do you have to be?
Our adult classes run for ages 17 to 75 and everything in between — plenty of dancers join in their fifties and sixties. Younger dancers (6–16) are welcome at selected classes; pick the age band on the enquiry form and we'll point you to the right session.
05Does a four-week block have to be the same class?
Yes — a block is four consecutive weeks of one class, which is how it gets you the £8 saving and, more importantly, how the routine builds from week to week. Want to sample several styles first? Drop in at £10 each until one sticks, then block-book that one.
06Which days and times are the classes?
Classes run on weekday evenings and weekends across Plymouth city centre, and the timetable shifts as new styles launch — so rather than publish a schedule that goes stale, we send the live one when you enquire. Tell us the style and the evenings you can do, and we'll match you up.
