Wedding lessons are private, so they happen wherever works: a studio we hire in Plymouth city centre, your living room once the sofa's pushed back, or the venue itself for a final run-through on the actual floor. We travel across Plymouth and out through Devon — Plympton, Ivybridge, Tavistock, Saltash, the South Hams — and further by arrangement.
Your home
Most couples learn best in their own space — no audience, no mirrors, and the dog can watch. All we need is a clear patch of floor and a speaker.
Your venue
Booked a barn, a hotel by the Hoe or a marquee in the South Hams? A final rehearsal on the real floor, in the real shoes, is the best money you'll spend.

01How far ahead of the wedding should we start lessons?
Two to three months out is comfortable for most packages — enough time to learn without it hanging over you, and to rehearse in the final fortnight. Closer than that isn't a problem: the Last Minute intensive exists precisely for couples who realise late.
02One of us really can't dance. Is that a problem?
It's the normal starting point — nearly every couple has one reluctant half. Private lessons mean there's no room full of people to perform for, and the routine is built around what you can both do comfortably rather than what looks good on a competition floor.
03We haven't picked a song yet — can you help?
Yes, and it's one of the nicer parts of the first lesson. Tell us the artists you both love and the mood you're after, and we'll suggest tracks with a tempo that suits beginners. We can also edit a long song down or blend two together for a transition dance.
04Where do the lessons take place?
Wherever suits you: a studio we hire in Plymouth city centre, your home, or your wedding venue for a final rehearsal. We travel across Plymouth and Devon as standard — just tell us the postcode when you enquire and we'll confirm.
05Should we practise in our wedding shoes?
At least once, ideally in the last lesson — heels change your balance and a long dress changes your steps. For the earlier lessons anything comfortable is fine. We don't supply shoes or a practice dress, so bring what you'll actually wear when you can.
06Can we include a lift or a big finish?
If you want one, yes — the Showstopper and Perfect Routine packages leave room for a dip or a safe, rehearsed lift. If the idea terrifies you, we'll build a finish that photographs just as well without leaving the ground. Your call, never ours.
