To be clear, we're an independent Plymouth studio with no connection to any film company: what you're booking is a routine inspired by the songbook everyone knows, from wintry power ballads to under-the-sea earworms, chosen around whatever your bride hums when she thinks nobody's listening.
It's also our most age-proof theme by a mile. Six-year-old flower girls, nans, and every hen in between can share this routine, because the choreography rewards commitment and facial expressions over technique — big storytelling arms, waltzy sways, a dramatic villain section if your group has the right energy. The story arc
Once upon
an hour.
Every good tale needs a beginning, so yours opens with a warm-up disguised as a game — princess poses, villain glares, one collective dramatic gasp. Then the medley takes shape song by song: swaying ballad arms first, a skipping travelling step, the chorus everyone's been waiting to belt, each chunk simple enough that singing over it is not just allowed but expected.
For the ending, the group forms a ballroom circle and the bride waltzes through the middle of it — a proper storybook image that phones capture from every side. Ninety-minute sessions fit an extra song into the medley and leave time to run the whole tale twice, once for real and once purely for the outtakes.

01Which Disney songs end up in the medley?
Anything from the classic animated songbook — icy anthems, jungle grooves, ballroom waltzes, undersea numbers. Most groups get a medley of two or three, so list the bride's top picks on the form and your choreographer will build the running order around them.
02Is this an official Disney event?
No — we're an independent dance school in Plymouth with no affiliation to any studio or brand. What you're booking is our own choreography inspired by the songs everyone grew up with, taught by our own instructors. The joy, however, is fully authentic.
03Can younger guests or mums join in?
Wholeheartedly yes — this is the theme we recommend when the party spans generations. The choreography is gentle, the songs are universal, and if little ones are coming along, mention their ages in the enquiry so the session can be shaped with them in mind.
04Are tiaras, sashes and costumes welcome?
Extremely welcome — a room full of hens in tiaras commits harder, it's science. Do note that dressing-up gear isn't something we stock or hand out; whatever crowns, wings or gowns appear in the video will have travelled there in your suitcases.
05Does the bride become the princess?
If she wants the role, it's hers — the medley builds to a ballroom-circle moment with her at its heart, and we can write in a solo sway or a dramatic entrance depending on her appetite for attention. Reluctant royalty can share the moment with the whole court instead.
06Will you travel to our cottage or hotel for the Disney class?
Your class takes place at a studio we hire in Plymouth city centre — easy for anyone arriving by train and a short wander from the Barbican's cobbles for the evening after. We send the exact venue on confirmation, and for groups sharing a house with space to move, we'll happily run it at yours.
